Aibohphobia

If you have Aibohphobia, you are probably glad that the week is almost over.

Here are a few of my favorite palindromes.

  • Acrobats stab orca.
  • Aerate pet area.
  • Do geese see God?
  • Don’t nod.
  • Murder for a jar of red rum.
  • To hot to hoot.
  • Yo, banana boy.
  • Star comedy by Democrats.

And there are soooo many more.

* A palindrome is a word, phrase, sentence, or numbers that read the same forwards and backwards.

** And in case you have not already figured it out, Aibohphobia is itself a palindrome and it means fear of palindromes.

  1. Some are classics. My favorite is “A man, a plan, a canal, Panama!” Or what Napoleon said when he was exiled: “Able was I ere I saw Elba.”
